Chef Tina's Kitchen

Delicious & Nutritious

Chef Tina began her love of cooking when she moved to Northern California in 2001. Fueled by the (still ongoing) desire to improve her own health, she swept through her pantry and refrigerator removing all refined and chemical foods, especially the various forms of refined sweeteners.  She then acquainted herself with the local farmer’s market and health food stores and started exploring many fruits, vegetables, grains and pastured meats that she never even heard of growing upin rural Pennsylvania.  She also explored many different philosophies of eating, of which there are no shortages in Northern California.  In 2006, when Chef Tina gave birth to her first child, she was introduced to a more traditional way of eating via the Weston A. Price Foundation, which further deepened her culinary self-study into nutrient-dense foods.

Once her two daughters were of school age, Tina decided to follow her newfound passion and enrolled in the Natural Chef program at Bauman College where she deepened her culinary skills and gained skills in preparing nutrient-dense and therapeutic foods of all types.   She is now a Certified Natural Chef.

Tina now combines her passions for being a Mom, organic vegetable gardening, and preparing healthy food.  She presents cooking classes focused on family-friendly, nutritious food. She also prepares gorgeous, nutrient-dense food for private clients.
